I’m delighted to announce that I shall be writer-in-residence for the National Trust and Literature Works at Agatha Christie’s former home on the Dart, between September and November this autumn. I’m offering a number of outdoor and indoor writing workshops and reading events: Greenway.
GREEN PARTY FUNDRAISER, Devon: I’ll be reading my poetry, alongside Matt Harvey and various other local poets, on Thursday 31st August 2017 at Dartington Village Hall, 7.30pm. Tickets £6 on door.
Living a Writer’s Life: An Evening with Roselle Angwin is a Bookstop Tavistock talk & reading on Friday July 7th 2017, in the Bedford Hotel. Tickets 01822 617244
My own writing: I’m finally through the first draft of my forest book. More anon!
And Pindrop Press will be publishing my 17 years’ worth of Iona poems early in 2018. Look out for A Trick of the Light.
I’m offering a weeklong TONGUES IN TREES retreat in the beautiful Brittany forest of An Uhelgoad/Huelgoat, in October 2017. (The last day course I offered was so popular and the work created so exciting.) This latter will include hands-on artwork in the forest, foraging, and of course writing, plus ‘tree spirit medicine’ and general treelore.
The first course in 2017 was the start of my new year-long course on a mythic approach to: restoring the lost feminine in our lives, men and women both (with a deeper agenda of restoring the same in our culture, as I believe it is this that will help restore planetary and natural balance in the outer world, too); on living with soul; and writing your life-story, The Wellkeepers. This one is for a private group but it will happen again.
The ISLANDS OF THE HEART retreats on the beautiful Isle of Iona in April 2018 are already booking up (May 2017). Please contact me if you’d like a place.
ALL OUR RELATIONS: earth stories was a half-day outdoor workshop on Easter Monday, April 17, in South Devon in celebration of 10 years of Transition Town Totnes. It’ll happen again in 2018. See here.
