I’m coming into the late 20th century, finally, with some audio and video files. You can listen to podcasts and poems from Iona, from Dartmoor, from Gascony and from National Trust Greenway (where I was poet-in-residence) on my SoundCloud page. There’s also a podcast on the practice of Zen mindfulness, and there are others coming. It’s free, and easy to access.
On the following link you can watch a YouTube interview about my approach to the land, and to our sense of belonging to place and land, and writing about it. Dr Lania Knight, then lecturer in creative writing at the University of Gloucester, was the interviewer.
I am the guest on episode 46 of THE WHEEL podcast, speaking on trees (my bit is about halfway through, but do listen to the first part too).
We had a wonderful launch for my new book in early July, courtesy of James Murray-White of Save the Oaks, and with music by Geoff Robb. Thank you so much, all those of you who attended – 160 of you booked from all over the world, and I loved knowing you were there. If you missed the launch, you can see it here as a video.
Soon to come: in 1994 I recorded a couple of creative visualisations from my book Riding the Dragon – myth & the inner journey as a cassette tape, with music specially composed for it. The intention of these was for deep relaxation, restoration and healing. A clever friend has managed to convert them to CD and MP3 files. These will be available to buy once again soon (feedback on the tape was excellent).
